Tata Motors needed to identify consumers visiting their own or competitor showrooms and determine which were actively looking to purchase a vehicle. Capturing and blending these signals would be complex and resource-intensive, however SherlockAI served this purpose!
Situation and Challenge
Finding out people who have visited their or their competitors' showrooms is an issue faced by a lot of automobile manufacturers, and this type of signal is one of many that helps to identify purchase intent.
The Solution
All Tata Motor showroom layouts were mapped and consumers who were visiting any car dealerships were tracked. Combined with SherlockAI's proprietary analysis, we were able to understand the locations of where the devices of showroom visitors shopped, their home locations, and other metrics such as quality of life level, transactional data, automobile dealership visitation, and search trends on digital platforms to create classifiers based on a person's interest in buying a vehicle.
From this, we ran precisely targeted campaigns to those that were most likely to convert on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
